Do you support stricter security measures in public schools?
Education Minister Glenys Hanna-Martin says the government is rolling out new security protocols in public schools to create “sterile zones” where only authorized individuals can enter. This includes: Electronic gate arms at school entrances. Student ID cards with personal info for access. Disciplinary action for unauthorized entries and infractions. These changes follow a rise in safety concerns due to unauthorized persons entering campuses. While school incidents reportedly fell 17% last year, the Ministry says more must be done to protect students and staff.
